Apostle, author, pastoral counselor, and minister of grace, Dr. Shelley Crozier has spent her life at the intersection of faith, justice, and transformation. For over a decade, she labored within the political arena of Central Ohio, cultivating a community that gave voice to the marginalized and disenfranchised. At just twenty-two, she became the youngest serving Executive Director of the nation’s oldest historically Black political organization, The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus. In that role, she worked alongside African American legislators to advance public policy promoting equality for all.

After the birth of her first child in 2000, Dr. Shelley experienced her own “road to Damascus” encounter with the Lord, which radically altered her life’s direction. She has since devoted herself to championing Christ while remaining deeply engaged with pressing justice issues, leading countless outreaches addressing human trafficking, poverty, and the sanctity of life. As Executive Director of The Women’s Clinic of Columbus, she oversaw one of the nation’s top pregnancy resource centers, where more than 7,000 lives were saved under her leadership.

In 2016, she founded The Well Healing and Discipleship Center, serving as pastor and counselor to facilitate wholeness in God’s people. Through the work of this ministry, Dr. Shelley envisioned facilitating the radical transformation of the modern church—only possible through the love of God being shed abroad in the hearts of believers.

Once again, Dr. Shelley answered the Father’s call to shift. She has taken on Apostolic leadership within the Body of Christ with great humility. Walking out this new Apostolic mantle has opened new doors and presented many challenges. The Sixteen Nation mandate of The Well Encounter is to establish places of encounter worldwide that facilitate regional transformation, prepare the Bride, and usher in the return of Christ. While completing this assignment, Dr. Shelley became greatly troubled by the absence of people of color on the mission field. In response to this void, she launched Ruach Global Missions and House of Prayer (2024), a global missions and humanitarian organization established to fulfill the Great Commission by developing a culture of prayer, worship, evangelism, discipleship, and humanitarian service among people of color toward people of color. Dr. Shelley’s reach has spanned five continents.

A prolific author, Dr. Shelley has written The Fearless, Clean Hands Pure Hearts, Made Whole, and her most recent works, The Transformed Leader, The Transformed Faith Leader, and her first work of fiction, Humanity. She also champions entrepreneurial empowerment for underrepresented communities through initiatives such as the international EzHer LeanIn Circle and Shelley Crozier Consulting, fostering leadership, innovation, and marketplace influence.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Shelley is the proud mother of two adult children and countless spiritual children. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and Liberty University School of Divinity. When she is not serving on the mission field, Dr. Shelley makes her home in North-Central Alabama.

Pretty was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After losing her mother, she ran away to Durban at age 10 to escape an abusive home and ended up living on the streets, where she faced exploitation and addiction. Her life changed when a former drug house resident invited her to church, leading her to faith in Christ and a recovery program. Now, she is passionate about helping other young women experience the same hope and healing she found.
